The Enjoyable Equine

Kristyn Snyder is the founder of The Enjoyable Equine, and creator of custom equine products for the stylish equestrian. “Since before I could walk I was riding horses, and this fueled a desire to make a living in the horse industry.” She continued to further her education with a Bachelor’s degree in Equestrian Science in 2009. “After school I was no longer able to keep my horse in my backyard. This meant hauling my tack back and forth to the barn. I knew I needed something to protect my saddles, and so began the search for what I originally thought I wanted; a saddle bag.” She found that a saddle bag was too bulky and difficult to get her saddle in and out of repeatedly. Being familiar with elastic covers she set out to order one online… but by the time she found one she sort of liked and added shipping to the price they became expensive. Plus the designs were boring or solid colors! Her grandma had taught her to sew as a teenager and so it began…

 

Kristyn’s knowledge of equine anatomy has proven helpful when designing products to be used on horses. It is important to her that her products are not only fashionable but also SAFE!
